Last weekend was the trip to Cape May, NJ. Seth, Joe, Craig and myself piled into my red mobile and headed to New Freedom, PA to meet up with Emily. We got to Emily's around midnight, ate food, talked, and went to bed. The next morning we ate breakfast and headed to the beach. The drive to the beach wasn't too long or painful; however, dealing with three boys...three ART MAJORS...was pretty fucking annoying. I'd go into all the gruesome details, but I don't want to relive it.
We got to the beach, dropped off shit, hit the grocery store, then hit the beach. The water was cold on Friday and I didn't go in the whole way, but I did get knocked down and drug about. That night we cooked dinner and drank...a lot. Saturday morning, Emily and I took a walk to the bay and helped a bunch of snails get back to the water. After the boys woke up, we headed to the beach for hours and hours of fun and beaching. We all went in the water and got tore the fuck up. I ended up getting really fucking burnt. I mean REALLY burnt. I'm still in pain. Anyway, that night we went to this FABULOUS Greek restaurant named George's. I had a Greek salad and pita, then finished with a tiramisu waffle that was apparently sent down from Heaven to bless my taste buds and tummy. OOOOH IT WAS DELICIOUS. After dinner we came home and I went to sleep since I could barely move my body.
The next morning was a sad one. We packed up and headed back to PA. We got to Emily's around 5:30 and her parents cooked us dinner--delicious! We left her house around 6:30 and made it back to Cal around 11. It was a good trip. I love Emily.
Now I'm at the airport, waiting to fly to Chicago. I'm still sore.
